3. How We Store Your Information

On-Device Storage Only: All wallet data, including private keys, transaction history, and personal information, is stored locally on your device. We do NOT store your data on our servers.

Your Responsibility: You are solely responsible for backing up your wallet recovery phrase and securing your device. If you lose your device or uninstall the App without backing up, we cannot recover your data.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information solely to:

• Provide and maintain the App functionality
• Enable account recovery if you forget your password
• Send important security notifications (if opted in)
• Comply with legal obligations

We do NOT:

5. Blockchain Transactions

Chinchilla Wallet operates on the one-chain blockchain. Important notes:

• Public Ledger: All transactions are recorded on a public blockchain and are permanently visible
• Wallet Addresses: Your wallet addresses are public, but not directly linked to your personal identity unless you disclose them
• Irreversible: Blockchain transactions cannot be reversed or deleted

We implement industry-standard security measures:

• Encryption: Private keys are encrypted and stored locally on your device
• No Server Storage: Your sensitive data never leaves your device
• Secure Communication: All network communications use encryption

However: No method of electronic storage is 100% secure. You are responsible for keeping your device and recovery phrase secure.

7. Third-Party Services

Chinchilla Wallet does NOT integrate with third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.

We may link to external websites (e.g., blockchain explorers). These sites have their own privacy policies, which we do not control.

8. Children's Privacy

Chinchilla Wallet is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If we discover we have collected data from a child, we will delete it immediately.
